Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise in Laravel, Node.js, and React.js to join our development team.

The ideal candidate should have solid experience building and maintaining scalable web applications, RESTful APIs, database-driven systems, and modern frontend applications. You will be responsible for developing new features, improving existing systems, integrating third-party services, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to technical architecture and engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications.
• Develop robust backend applications and RESTful APIs using Laravel and PHP.
• Build scalable services and APIs using Node.js where required.
• Develop modern, responsive, and reusable frontend applications using React.js.
• Design and optimize relational databases, primarily MySQL.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, authentication systems, and external services.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and production issues.
• Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Review code and maintain development standards across the team.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Work with Git-based development workflows and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other developers.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD, deployment, and cloud-based infrastructure where required.
• Continuously evaluate and introduce better tools, technologies, and development practices.

Required Technical Skills

Backend – Laravel / PHP

• 5+ years of professional backend/full-stack development experience.
• Strong experience with PHP and Laravel.
• Strong understanding of Laravel architecture and MVC.
• Experience building RESTful APIs.

Frontend – React.js

• Strong experience with React.js.
• Good understanding of React components, hooks, state management, and lifecycle concepts.
• Experience building responsive and reusable UI components.
• Experience consuming REST APIs from React applications.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, Context API, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend development practices.
• Experience with modern build tools such as Vite or Webpack.

Database

• Strong experience with MySQL or similar relational databases.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Database design and normalization.
• Query optimization and indexing.
• Understanding of transactions, relationships, and database performance.
• Experience working with large datasets is a plus.
• Knowledge of Redis is a plus.

DevOps / Cloud

• Good understanding of Linux-based environments.
• Experience with Git and GitHub/GitLab.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience deploying applications using AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar cloud platforms.
• Understanding of Docker and containerized applications.
• Basic knowledge of Nginx, PHP-FPM, queues, workers, and application monitoring.
• AWS experience with services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront is a plus.

Security & Performance

• Understanding of common web application security principles.
• Experience implementing secure APIs and authentication.
• Understanding of OWASP security practices.
• Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Experience with caching, database optimization, queues, and scalable application architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
